The landscape of Lake Eibsee – Ultralight Beam
Lake Eibsee is a stunning photo location directly underneath Germany's highest mountain- the famous Zugspitze. My friend Linh and I went for a stroll to catch the first light of the day which should turn out to be a constant beam of ultralight and awesomeness! The already wonderful landscape with it's magical forests and small islands was just bathed in warm and bright light. What a spectacular view of one of Germany's most beautiful mountain lakes!

I: EMBARK We were told to not get our hopes up when embarking on the old vessel that should take us to the lands beyond. Only a few are able and capable enough to even consider the journey we had planned for years and even fewer actually crazy enough to do so. Mother, for the first time, called me a lunatic and as her hand burned my cheek red hot, I saw the tears she was holding back.  I am sorry.  As if to laugh at us, a school of humpbacks tagged alongside the vessel for a few miles.
