Whales from above
From my second visit to Iceland in 2017, my third in total, where I had the unique opportunity to not only take part in a whale watching tour in northern Iceland but to also start and operate my drone from aboard the vessel as the pod of at least five grace- and beautiful humpback whales almost cheerfully tagged along for almost two hours. Shrouds
      The dying glacier's face is covered with a veil of white sheets. Desperately and somewhat failing to protect the age-old giant from the sun and the greenhouse-effect. Still in summer, it melts twenty feet in three weeks. Covered in dust, sand and soot of years, white turned to grey yet there is a glimpse of brightness to be found under the cover. In the next 100 years, many glaciers will disappear, never to resurface in the cradle of winter. Gone. Forever.
