Color study that came out of my recent trip to Iceland. The winter and the sometimes clouded skies created a whole spectrum of blues.

Switzerland's beautiful landscapes actually never cease to amaze me! When I was there a few weeks ago, right before our Scotland-trip, I was enchanted by tall mountains and the most magical, almost surreal, light. To shoot in such an enthralling scenery surely is every photographer's dream. And so I felt very lucky to travel to one of the world's most beautiful landscapes with my good friends, to kind of celebrate my late birthday. Cloud Gazing, Switzerland 2017
The Appenzell region of Switzerland is famous for it's cheese but to photographers it bears wonders in terms of mountains, ridges, clouds and lakes. Fog gathers on the steep ridges so that it seems like a blanket for the massive chalk mountains that are characteristic for the Alpstein massif. The Saxerlücke, which is seen here, is one of the most famous examples for this occasion to occur. Watch out for the obligatory yellow dot.
